Axis | Axis Assemble Bursary Opportunity

The Axis Assemble programme is a 5-month bursary opportunity designed for artists at all stages of their careers, from all backgrounds. It’s about supporting your creative process, connecting you with other artists, and giving you the time and space to develop your ideas. Recipients will receive €2,000 bursary funding, mentoring, networking opportunities and more.

S+T+ARTS AQUA MOTION | Residency Open Call

Invites artists from all disciplines to apply for a unique interdisciplinary residency programme focused on the future of water in Europe. At a time when water scarcity, pollution, climate change, and biodiversity loss are reshaping societies and ecosystems, AQUA MOTION supports artistic experimentation that engages with these challenges through collaboration with scientists, technologists, local communities, and water experts.

This Call for Artists seeks 25 artists to participate in a 9-month Residency, followed by a 4-month Scale-Up programme, hosted across four European regions. Each artist will receive €40,000, mentoring, access to professional networks and more.

Kilkenny Arts Office | Age & Opportunity Tyrone Guthrie Centre Residency Award

The Age & Opportunity Tyrone Guthrie Centre Residency Award in partnership with Kilkenny County Council Arts Office aims to support professional artists of 50+ to develop their practice, by creating time and space to think and reflect on their work and to bolster their peer network. This will be achieved through a dedicated bursary to attend a residency over the course of a week.

This award is a partnership between Kilkenny County Council Arts Office and Age & Opportunity and is in association with the Tyrone Guthrie Centre.

Nasc Network Touring Commission 2025 | Open Call

Pavilion Theatre, together with the seven other Nasc Network of regional theatres, is currently seeking touring proposals from production companies or producers working in the performing arts interested in collaborating with the Nasc network on a tour to all the network venues in 2026.

S+T+ARTS AFROPEAN INTELLIGENCE (#AI) | Residency Open Call

S+T+ARTS Afropean Intelligence (#AI) opens a call for artists to support 10 artistic residencies in Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The project will support 10 African* artists in their creation process, by providing digitals tools and Afro-European transversal expertise; encouraging them to reshape narratives that promote social justice, inclusivity and challenge cultural paradigms. In a context where artificial intelligence occupies an exponential place and will inevitably impact tomorrow’s societies, the project aspires to explore the uses of this technology to address topics that are at the core of Africa’s today’s concerns – either on local or more global approaches.

*To be an eligible applicant, proposals must be submitted by an individual artist or an artist collective who’s a permanent resident or a national of any African country.

Create l | AIC Scheme Bursary Award

The objective of the Artist in the Community (AIC) Scheme Bursary Award is to support individual professional artists in any artform to develop their collaborative socially engaged arts practice. There will be two awards of €20,000 awarded in 2025, offering the artists time to reflect on, and develop, their practice. The recipient will also receive mentoring and additional support from partner organisations.

Culture Ireland | Regular Grant Scheme

Culture Ireland offers support to Irish professional artists, arts organisations and international presenters to present work by Irish artists at significant international venues and festivals. There will be four grant rounds in 2025 covering all windows of activity throughout the year.

Áras Éanna Arts Centre | Open Call 2026

Áras Éanna are inviting applicants to apply for residencies on Inis Oírr for 2026. The successful recipient’s will be offered residencies that will be allocated on dates determined by the selection board. Artists at all stages of their professional life from emerging to well-established are welcomed, and they try and accommodate all artforms.

The residencies can be from two weeks to one month and Áras Éanna will provide return ferry to Inis Oírr, accommodation, studio space and a stipend which will be determined at a later date.

workspacebrussels | Research and Creation Residency for Performing Artists

This 1-3 week residency programme is aimed at Belgian and international artists working within the performing arts in the broad sense of the word (dance, performance, theatre, crossovers with other disciplines). The programme supports both research, experimentation and creation. Artists receive a flat rate of €750 per project, studio space, sharing opportunities and more.

This workshop is open to artists, arts administrators, curators, and other arts and creative professionals looking to foster a more inclusive and supportive industry. The workshop provides practical guidance on embedding inclusive behaviours within your unique organisational context.

AN INTRODUCTION TO INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE Workshop (Online, Zoom): Thurs 3 July, 11am - 1pm. Register here.

This training is ideal for artists, arts and creative workers with a general understanding of diversity and inclusion who want to acquire a deeper knowledge and develop skills when it comes to intercultural competence and engaging across lines of difference and advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Minding Creative Minds (MCM)

Is an organisation established to offer a free 24/7 wellbeing & support programme for any individual of the creative sector based in Ireland and Irish creatives while travelling. More details here.
