THISPOPBABY was pioneered by Phillip McMahon and Jennifer Jennings in 2007 with their debut show Danny and Chantelle. Their support and partnership with Drag Queen Icon Panti Bliss propelled them forward as they produced more and more shows starring Irish talent.
THISISPOPBABY is no longer just an Irish theatre company it is a global sensation with shows such as Wake, Riot, If These Wigs Could Talk and many more! Reaching across the sea to the UK and further adrift with shows in Australia. THISISPOPBABY is not slowing down with Wake making its American debut in Boston in 2027.
But at its heart is the city that THISISPOPBABY was born, Dublin. With shows performed in the Abbey Theatre, Vicar Street, The Project Arts Center and The National Stadium, THISISPOPBABY has never forgotten her roots.
