What the flyer said...

Sex. Money. Power. Reputation. THISISPOPBABY present two new short plays by two of Ireland's most exciting emerging writers. Commissioned by the Abbey Theatre as part of their 20:LOVE season, Two Houses by Belinda McKeon and Investment Potential by Phillip McMahon probe the thorny territory of love in modern Ireland.

What the papers said...

"The script crackles with both wit and sardonic humour."
- Irish Theatre Magazine (on Investment Potential)

What we say...

Jenny: This was a lot of fun and is why I love working with Phillip. An idea is floated that is very quickly turned into reality via accosting a certain Artistic Director of a certain national theatre! The plays were definitely two of the best in the Fringe that year too, with some great performances.

Phillip: I had a great time on these plays. It was great to have the Abbey involved, and I have huge affection for both plays. It was also another opportunity to work with the very talented Deirdre Molloy, and great actors.
