Alice December Workshops

It began with a name (Alice in Funderland) and a desire to create a fun piece of musical theatre that appealed to our audience base (and us) and was connected to the city and the now.

With the aid of an Arts Council New Work Development Grant, we brought five incredible actors, director Wayne Jordan, composer Ray Scannell, writer Phillip McMahon, the Lewis Carroll novels, and the start of some ideas about contemporary Dublin into a room for 10 days in April 2009...where a little bit of magic happened.

This December we returned to the rehearsal room for a week, with the kind support of the Abbey Theatre, bringing us one step closer to making musical madness history. Broadway here we come!
